Super quick Holiday Update

I've been terrible at blogging this month but I have been soaking up every last second of these holidays!!

Last week I attended a 3 day Science Workshop at one of the University's which was so much fun, we went to lectures and did multiple workshops including testing our blood type, I'm A+!! And an array of other things as well as a social and excursion!! I loved it and found most of it very interesting (except for most of the physics).

I also had my birthday party today!! It was great, I'm going to post pictures and information very soon (I hope). It has been awhile since my birthday but some of my friends had dance summer schools and we were away on some weekends so I had to wait until today but that meant that I had more time to plan everything!! They gave me a Pandora Bracelet, an angel charm, a pyjama shirt, Kimi Doll keyring and one of my friends just got back from America and gave me an apron, oven mitt and spatula from the M&M store!!

Tomorrow I'm going to my Uncle's for the day to play with my cousins N and A!!
Tuesday I'm getting everything ready to go back to school,
And Wednesday I'll be back at school. I got my school laptop on Friday and we also got our school calendar Monday last week and 12 pictures get chosen, one for each month and a photo of my friends and I is the month of March!! How exciting, we were all so happy:)

Holiday Mish Mash

I've been doing so much since I last posted, I go back to school in 9 days and have been trying to make the most of these last few weeks!!

I've had friends over to watch Greys Anatomy, I've been shopping with my friends about 5 times, I had my primary school friends over for a swim, I've had a few sleepovers, been to a few sleepovers, I've gone to a few markets, we've had family friends over for dinner parties, been to friends houses for dinner parties, visited family, been to the beach to visit friends, I've been doing odd jobs to earn money and catching up on movies and tv shows!! I've also been planning my party that is going to be next week!! And also been doing a lot of relaxing (aka nothing!!)

This weekend we drove down to NSW to visit friends and go and see a show!!

This week I am going to a science experience at the University which I'm looking forward too!!

I also hope to blog about the rest of our cruise before i go back to school!!


But I've loooved these holidays so much and have really just been soaking them all up and making the most of every last second!!

I NEVER want them to end!!

Our Cruise {Days 1-3}

So I'm finally starting to post about our cruise!! Christmas and New Year were so busy that I just didn't get a chance to edit photos and then blog.

Anyway, we flew from were we live down to Sydney on the 9th of December and then one of my mothers friends drove us to the terminal where our boat was.

We filled out the necessary forms, had our luggage scanned and then boarded the boat at around 1pm. Our boat was the Ms Zaandam one of Holland America's boats. It was lovely, the boat was very well kept and there were people constantly cleaning especially the stair cases. We found our rooms, my brother and I were in one room and our parents were in the room next door however there was an adjoining door between us, dumped our luggage and went for lunch. My brother and I then went for a swim in the pools and spas and then went to say good bye to Sydney.

We then sailed out of Sydney Harbour at around ?? It was beautiful, here are only a very few of the pictures that I took as we left.

This was one of the mats in the elevator, each day they were changed to say what day it was!!

And just like that we were off, saying goodbye to Sydney and to our last chance of network coverage!! The did have internet services on the boat however it was expensive and unnecessary for us!!

The next 2 days were then days at sea as we made our way to Noumea, New Caledonia. 

On Saturday the sea was a little rough but we all slept for most of the day. Mum and I also went to trivia and came second. That night was our first formal night in the dinning room, this meant men had to wear suits and women ball gowns or similar.

Sunday was another day at sea but there were so many different activities to do and things to do around the boat that we never felt bored. Sunday we relaxed again but in the afternoon we took part in a Scavenger Hunt. We were given 12 pictures of all different things around the boat and then we had to go and find them and a take a picture of it that was matching the one we were given. For example it had to be taken on the same angle and be zoomed in as much as the one provided.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody!!

I hope that whatever you are doing today to celebrate christmas (or anything else) is filled with Joy, Love, Peace and Hope!!

Today I will be spending the morning with my mothers family at my Nanna's and Gar's house for breakfast and then coming back to our house to celebrate with my Dad's family for a late lunch!! I'm so excited:)

P.S. I'm so sorry I was unable to get any posts of my holiday up before today but I've been so busy baking, decorating the house, shopping and wrapping presents that I haven't had a chance.

Our Christmas Tree

Every year we chose a colour scheme for our christmas tree, chose out all new decorations and count down until December 1 to see what it all looks like on the tree.

Last year I chose to have a pink tree!! Oh it was so beautiful but this year we have gone back to more traditional colours of red and gold. We have chosen to keep it simple with just baubles and a few angel decorations and a gold and red angel on top which we've always had and was coincidentally in our colour scheme!! I think tinsel can be tacky so I love our tree!!

Holiday update {part 2}

Sunday: My mother and I went shopping to outlet shops and I bought a new pair of shorts and mum also bought 2 christmas presents for me, that I chose.

Monday: I went to my uncles for the day and played with and looked after my cousin N. We went for a bike ride, I walked and she rode, we went for a walk and looked at some road works and we played hide and seek. She is so cute and I love spending time with her. Her brother A was at vacation care as they had a special activity on.

Tuesday: I stayed home and re-watched season 7 of Greys Anatomy and started packing my bags for our cruise. I also had a doctors appointment as I have had a headache on the right side of my head since last Monday and last night it got really bad.

Wednesday: Again I stayed home and did a bit more packing and watched Greys Anatomy season 8 which hasn't been shown here yet!! It is so good!!! I didn't hear any news on my blood test for my headache, today.

Thursday: I finished packing and put everything in my bag, got heaps of things organised and really just got ready for our cruise!! I had a nice relaxing day even though the weather has been so cold and its meant to be summer!!

Friday: My family and I left very early for our cruise!!

I'm going on a holiday

Today I along with my brother, mother and father are heading to another state and then boarding a boat!!
We are going on a 14 day cruise!!! I'm very excited, I'm ready to relax and get a very nice tan!!

I've got a few posts for you while I'm away but I don't get back until just before christmas so I hope to post soon after we get back and then its my birthday!!

I'll share all of the details and photos when I get back!!

Have a lovely 2 weeks and I'll seem to be here but I'm not really!!

Holiday update {part 1}

Here's what I've been up to.

Friday: the day I finished year 9 and mum's birthday!! We finished school at 12:30 so M took E, L and I back to her house and we went for a swim and had subway for lunch. Mum then came and picked me up, I came home had a shower and then went to my Uncles place for the night as my mum had her Christmas party. We went to A's christmas concert on Friday night and I had KFC for the first time.

Saturday: I went for a swim with my cousins A and N and then my dad came and picked me up from my uncles. We then went home got mum and my brother and drove to NSW to visit friends. We got there late afternoon and stayed in their yard in our camper trailer.

Sunday: Mum, our friends and I went to Byron Bay in the morning to do some shopping but I didn't buy anything. We then came home for lunch, had a rest and then went to the lake for a swim. Our friends have many surfboards so my brother and I had a paddle around the lake and I stood up on the surfboard for 5 seconds...I was so proud!!

Monday: We drove home in the morning and then on mums way to work she dropped me off at my uncles and I played with N all day. We went swimming played dress ups and then went and got A from school. Mum then picked me up and we came home.

Tuesday: was meant to be the day I cleaned up my room and sorted everything out but I baked scones, surfed the internet and watched tv. I did do some cleaning and I un-packed my bag from my uncles (from Mondays visit not fridays!!) and NSW. I also sorted out my school books and handouts from this year.

Wednesday: I made a delicious pasta salad which I hope to share soon and a friend from primary school came over. We hanged out at my place for a while and then went to meet another friend from primary at our primary school to see all of our old teachers and current students. I had a great day and I don't normally get to see my primary school friends very often so it was very exciting.

Thursday: I put up the christmas tree!! E, L, M and I went up to our school to help with a few things for some of the day. We then all came back to my house went for a swim, watched things on my laptop and had a sleepover.

Friday: E, L, M and I went shopping for the day!! I was the only one who bought anything but its usually the opposite, I'm usually the only one that doesn't buy anything. I got a jumpsuit and 2 pairs of shorts. We then came back to my house again made some macadamia nut brittle and then they all went home. I then stayed the night at my grandparents.

Saturday: I came home from my grandparents at about midday and then wrapped a few christmas pressies and surfed the internet!!

School's out!!

I finished school last Friday(25-11-11)!!

I have now officially finished year 9!! It feels so good to be able to say that. After 9 exams and 2 assignments I'm finally finished. However I'm kind of scared as I am now going into year 10!! I can't believe it, I think year 10 is going to be so hard.

My holidays have been fantastic so far, I've already done so much and loved every second of it, I so badly needed these holidays and I was so tired on Friday.

Holiday update {finale}

Wednesday and Thursday: I pretty much did nothing, just got everything ready for M's surprise party, including making her pinata, making her cupcakes and making a pass-the-parcel.  And I also just relaxed.

Friday: I assembled and make the cupcakes, L came over and we went to E's place to set up for M's surprise party. I'll try to post pictures soon.

Saturday: Did a bit of back to school shopping and started to finish of my home ec assignment.

Sunday: I un-packed from M's sleepover party and got everything ready for school. I also finished my Home Ec assignment which I will post photos of soon!!

Overall my holidays have been absolutely amazingly fun!! When I look back on all of the things I have done it feels like soo much but it also feels like the holidays have gone way way to fast.

Anyway back to school today and I'm feeling pretty good!!

Last day

Today is the last day of holidays:( and the last day of my Blastocysts tablets:)

This term, term 4 is only 8 weeks long!! But in this term I have 2 English assignments; one written and one oal, 1 student free day, an awards night, 1 year of being sick, graduation for the year 12's which means a very long mass (I missed the one last year but I have been told its sad and boring), 2 Home Ec assignments; one practical and one written, a computers exam, an English exam, Science exam, Social Science exam, Maths exam, Religion exam and a Business exam. I will be busy, stressed, possibly definitely overwhelmed but I know I  can do it, I know I will get through it and I know I can do it well. I want to wish myself and all other students out there all the best of luck for the last term of this year. All I have to do is think of the lovely looong holidays after this year is finished and soon enough I'll be in year 10!!

Today is also the last day I'm on the second set of tablets to treat my Blasto. These have been nowhere near as bad as the last lot but I have had increased nausea and 1 other side effect. Today and yesterday have definitely been the worst day so far but even they have not been that bad. I'll get re-tested in 4 weeks and if it comes back positive there is another set of tablets or some type of drugs to take again. I have an appointment with a doctor in Sydney at the Centre for Digestive Diseases in January which was the earliest I could get in and if I still have Balsto. by then we will go and see him. Hopefully all goes well but I'll keep you all updated.

Holiday update

Thursday: I stayed in my pyjamas until 4pm and didn't really do much apart from relax and surf the net. Then that night my family and I went out for dinner at this cool pizza place in the city and then we went to see an amazing circus.

Friday: I caught up with some of my primary school friends and we watched the movies that were made about our year 6 and 7 class. I started my Blsato. tablets. My brother also had a sleepover party that night with 6 friends for his 13th birthday although his birthday was in the last week of school.

Saturday: I had a lazy morning and got my eyebrows waxed. Then my mum and I went to see 'The Help' which was really eye opening and sad but a very very good movie. And coincidentally I saw L and her mother seeing the same movie!!

Sunday: My father and I went for breakfast together at the markets and then we did a bit of shopping and I got a new bikini for our cruise. My grandparents came over for a visit and I helped my mum paint my bathroom. We also went to IKEA for the THIRD time these holidays to pick up some more stuff for our playroom and my bathroom.

Monday: L, E and I went into the city with my mum for a bit of shopping!! I had a great time but my stomach started hurting a bit but it wasn't too bad.

Tuesday: My father and I cleaned out my cupboards and I chucked so much stuff out!! We then moved the furniture around in my room. My mum and I also put our bathroom cupboard up and filled it. We also did a bit of shopping.

My holidays have been filled with so many fun, enjoyable and relaxing things!! I can't believe there're nearly over!!

Busy Busy Busy

This is how my holidays have gone so far:

Friday: My mum and I went out to dinner and then saw a play called The Mouse Trap because someone she works with was in it. The play was great and dinner was too but I had a terrible cold and was so incredibly tired after a long term.

Saturday: I went shopping with my mother and bought a summer dress and then went straight to my grandmas for the night as my parents we going to a concert.

Sunday: I got home from my grandmas and went straight to IKEA with my mother because we are doing up my bathroom and our downstairs lounge/playroom and had to get a few things and some inspiration. We then had friends over for the afternoon and for dinner.

Monday: Two of my friends came over; L and E (M is in New Zealand) at 7am and we went shopping and then we went back to IKEA to get something for M's birthday. I post about it after we give it to her but it looks amazing!! E and L then slept over.

Tuesday: I had a dentist appointment and L, E waited in the waiting room. Afterwards we went to see Monte Carlo which was an average movie. L and E also slept over Tuesday night.

Wednesday (today): L, E and I went 4 wheel driving with my mother, father and brother and went swimming and paddling in the beach. L and E left at 5pm.

I have been busy but I've had so much fun!! I love my friends and the whole time we were together we didn't get sick of each other at all!! So far these holidays have been amazingly fun and I hope they stay that way!!

Holidays!!

It's the school holidays!! I have finished exams and overall I felt I've gone quite well. After a very long school term it's finally the holidays!!

I'm sooo excited!! I still haven't really thought about the medications I may have to take these holidays for my Blasto. so I haven't really gotten upset (yet). I will just go with the flow for the moment.

I'm of to my grandma's for the night.

I need holidays

I feel like I'm finally coming to the top of the hole of water I was drowning in. I've finally finished most of my assignments.

I have finished my religion and gotten my draft back, tomorrow I will finish my english assignment, I have finished my maths and science assignments, I am about half way through my home ec assignment, the draft for my social science assignment (french revolution) is due on friday so I am almost finished that and I have gotten my draft back on my business report and just have to change two sentences.

I have written science study notes that are up to date with what we have done in class but we still have more things to cover, I'm slowly starting to revise everything for my maths exam and I still have no idea how to use flash.

I still also have to write an evaluation and present it as an oral for business, I hate this subject and have to work in groups which is driving me nuts!!

I need holidays ASAP!! I'm sick of school and I'm sooo tired!! I can't wait for the holidays to begin and I have already planned lots of things I want to do. But I've only got 2 weeks so Im not sure I'll get them all done!!!

I'm still stressed and finding year 9 very hard to coupe with and being sick makes it twice as hard but I'll get there and my mum has been so very supportive, I can't thank her enough. She is so willing to help me, she never does my assignments for me but she goes out and gets me books for research and things like that which are invaluable and I'm truly blessed to have her as my mum. She has been amazing.

My friends have also been so supportive and are always willing to help me catch up and borrow their notes!! I'm also blessed to have them in my life. M, L and E my besties are some of the kindest people I have met!! I can't thank them enough for their support and help.

Mish Mash

Disclosure: There is a lot of whining and winging in this post and while I know there is so many people out there that has it so much worse than me I still feel this way sometimes.

This week I haven't really done anything. I've been really sick since Wednesday but it started on Monday and jut got worse. Mum thought it was almost time to go to hospital on Wednesday night. But no hospital trips so far this week...thank goodness!!

But to tell you the truth I'm sick of this, really sick of this. Usually I am only really sick for about 4-5 days so hopefully I'll be back to 'normal sick' again soon but I'm feeling no relief at the moment and can see none coming in the future.

It really sucks being sick, I wanna be out with my friends shopping going to the movies, having sleepovers, going bowling and just having fun with them but instead I'm stuck in bed most of the time because as soon as I stand up my stomach pains get worse and I get really nauseous. I have a lot of different medications to have for these symptoms but none of them really work and most of them I'm not allowed to take that often as they are for temporary pain not chronic pain.

I have done a few little projects that I can do sitting down and hope to share a tutorial for one of them soon!! On Thursday I also went over to one of my friends for a few hours as she was having a sleepover but I was to sick to stay the night and my mum calls thus friend therapy!!

So I have today and tomorrow until school resumes for another 10 WEEKS!!!!! I don't know if I can do it!! I found last term sooo hard and long and it was only 8 weeks!! Oh well I'll try to push through the pain and just try and get on with a normal life!!

What a week

This is how my (busy) week went:

Monday-I spent the day with my uncle and cousins, babysitting.

Tuesday-Doctors appointment in the morning, the doctor gave me a double script of Metronidazole to treat my blastocystis (unfortunately not making a difference yet). Then in the afternoon I had a dentist appointment for my first 2 fillings!! Actually the fillings were not that bad although my body shook the whole time because I was so scared!!

Wednesday-I went shopping with my 6 besties for the day!! I bought nothing but had a good time.

Thursday-I went to Movie World for the day with 2 of my besties!! I had a great time and went on my second roller-coaster, the Looney Tunes Children's Coaster and my third roller-coaster, the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster.

Friday-I made the heart cake from I am Baker with one of my other friends. It went quite well and I am hoping to try it again this week!! I'll share a photo as soon as I load them off my phone. It was also my half birthday, so I turned 14 and-a-half.

Saturday-My stomach was very bad (I ended up have a Panadiene Forte) and that night I had 3 of my besties come for a sleepover!! We stayed up until 3am and we watched Burlesque and Mean Girls 2, both very good movies.

Today(Sunday)-2 of the friends from last night and I (as well as my parents) went to some markets for breakfast and a look around. We then went to Harbour Town to do some shopping!! I bought some PJ's from Peter Alexander and a pair of jeans and a belt from Jag. We also watched Easy A which was about nothing and was very bad in my opinion.

Tomorrow(Monday)-I am going back to my Uncle's to babysit little N who's 2 and adorable.

So yeh I've had a busy week for school holidays but I've loved every day (well except for the doctors and dentist)!!

I can't wait to see what this week brings!! I hope you all had a great week and this week is just as good or even better!!!

No early mornings for me

Well so far the holidays have been great!! I really haven't done much but I'm loving staying up late and sleeping in til after 10 in the morning!! It's been pretty cold here and sleeping in with my electric blanket is pure bliss!! I think I could do it everyday if I was allowed to!!

Yesterday I went shopping with my mum but I didn't find anything I liked!! Today apart from a doctors appointment I'm not doing anything!! Tomorrow I'm hoping to make this cake

It is amazing!! My mother doesn't think I'll be able to do it but after a few practices I think I'll be fine. I want to make it for my friends birthday in about 3 weeks so I have plenty of time to practice. I'll post pictures as soon as I have done it!!

Then on Thursday night 3 of my friends are coming over for a sleep over and they are going to test the cake for me as well!! Don't worry its not the one who I'm actually making it for!! And then On Friday we are all going to a water park for the day!! Some may think were crazy but the weather man says its going to be sunny and they have hot tubs there as well as water slides and the like!!

So the holidays are treating me well and I never want them to end!!

Bring on the holidays

YAY, finally exams are over, term 2 is over, semester 1 is over and it's holidays!! 3 lovely, amazing and relaxing weeks that I have been looking forward to for what seems like forever!!

No more cold, early mornings, no more homework or assignments and no more worrying if I'm sick and I can't go to school for THREE whole weeks!!

I could scream, dance and jump around like a five year old I'm so excited!!

I love school but I just really need a break. I can't wait to go shopping, to the movies and just to be able to chill with friends.

I just can't wait!!!
