Holiday update

Thursday: I stayed in my pyjamas until 4pm and didn't really do much apart from relax and surf the net. Then that night my family and I went out for dinner at this cool pizza place in the city and then we went to see an amazing circus.

Friday: I caught up with some of my primary school friends and we watched the movies that were made about our year 6 and 7 class. I started my Blsato. tablets. My brother also had a sleepover party that night with 6 friends for his 13th birthday although his birthday was in the last week of school.

Saturday: I had a lazy morning and got my eyebrows waxed. Then my mum and I went to see 'The Help' which was really eye opening and sad but a very very good movie. And coincidentally I saw L and her mother seeing the same movie!!

Sunday: My father and I went for breakfast together at the markets and then we did a bit of shopping and I got a new bikini for our cruise. My grandparents came over for a visit and I helped my mum paint my bathroom. We also went to IKEA for the THIRD time these holidays to pick up some more stuff for our playroom and my bathroom.

Monday: L, E and I went into the city with my mum for a bit of shopping!! I had a great time but my stomach started hurting a bit but it wasn't too bad.

Tuesday: My father and I cleaned out my cupboards and I chucked so much stuff out!! We then moved the furniture around in my room. My mum and I also put our bathroom cupboard up and filled it. We also did a bit of shopping.

My holidays have been filled with so many fun, enjoyable and relaxing things!! I can't believe there're nearly over!!

11 Months

I have now been sick for 11 months. When I first got sick I remember thinking I would be better by the next week and as 1 month came and 2 months and so on I realised that I was very wrong. To get rid of my stomach pains would not take 1 week, not one month possibly even not one year but some day I believe I will get rid of them.

Life is so different with pain and sickness. Before this I would never have to worry what classes I was missing if I had doctors appointments or how many days I had been sick the term. I missed over 1/5 of last term whereas before I got sick I probably had 1 or 2 days of the whole year. Not only do I miss school but I have had to give up all sport. That is one thing I really look forward to after I get better.

But even though things are a lot tougher they could have been worst. I have something treatable, I'm getting treated for it and my doctor is not giving up until I have got rid of Blastocysts. Complaining, crying and whinging is not going to heal me but make me worse. I need to be positive, I need to keep hope and I need to keep faith.

One day I will get better but that one day just hasn't come yet.

The start

I started my next set of tablets on Friday(23-9-11), the ones to treat my Blasto. The last lot I felt terrible and I couldn't get out of bed but this time I feel great!! I have had no increase in stomach pains and I feel I have plenty of energy. My nausea has increased but it is no where near as bad as last time.

I think these tablets haven't affected me as bad because I have started them being a lot healthier. Last time I had just had colonics done which set of my stomach pains and then I started medications which just made it worst. This time around I've had no colonics (thank goodness) and I am also well rested as I've been on school holidays.

I don't know how the rest of the course is going to go but almost 3 days down and only 7 to go, I'm feeling great and I hope it stays that way.

I finish the course the day before school resumes so I shouldn't miss any school.

I have also worked out that I will get re-tested for Blasto. the day that I have been sick for 1 year.

Busy Busy Busy

This is how my holidays have gone so far:

Friday: My mum and I went out to dinner and then saw a play called The Mouse Trap because someone she works with was in it. The play was great and dinner was too but I had a terrible cold and was so incredibly tired after a long term.

Saturday: I went shopping with my mother and bought a summer dress and then went straight to my grandmas for the night as my parents we going to a concert.

Sunday: I got home from my grandmas and went straight to IKEA with my mother because we are doing up my bathroom and our downstairs lounge/playroom and had to get a few things and some inspiration. We then had friends over for the afternoon and for dinner.

Monday: Two of my friends came over; L and E (M is in New Zealand) at 7am and we went shopping and then we went back to IKEA to get something for M's birthday. I post about it after we give it to her but it looks amazing!! E and L then slept over.

Tuesday: I had a dentist appointment and L, E waited in the waiting room. Afterwards we went to see Monte Carlo which was an average movie. L and E also slept over Tuesday night.

Wednesday (today): L, E and I went 4 wheel driving with my mother, father and brother and went swimming and paddling in the beach. L and E left at 5pm.

I have been busy but I've had so much fun!! I love my friends and the whole time we were together we didn't get sick of each other at all!! So far these holidays have been amazingly fun and I hope they stay that way!!

Holidays!!

It's the school holidays!! I have finished exams and overall I felt I've gone quite well. After a very long school term it's finally the holidays!!

I'm sooo excited!! I still haven't really thought about the medications I may have to take these holidays for my Blasto. so I haven't really gotten upset (yet). I will just go with the flow for the moment.

I'm of to my grandma's for the night.

The results are...

I got re-tested for Blastocysts last Friday and got the results back today (well actually I should have gotten them back yesterday but we weren't home and our cleaning lady answered the phone and mum had to ring back today).

I tested......POSITIVE for Blasto. After 10 gruelling days of 3 different antibiotics and feeling sicker than I ever have before I've still got it. So all of that was for nothing!!

I'm not upset yet, I still have a science exam tomorrow and I'm totally focused on that. I haven't thought about the results or felt anything about them. I don't want to talk about it until my exams are over and then maybe (definitely) I'll be upset.

I don't know what is going to happen next, I don't know if I'll have the tablets again or if I'll have another set. I don't want to yet because that will be all I would think about and then possibly go bad on my exams!!

I'll  post again after this term is over tomorrow!!!

Assignments...Check!!!

I have finally finished my assignments!! I handed in my Social Science assignment today, my Religion assignment yesterday, I finished my english last week, I handed in my Science assignment a few weeks ago and I got that back to day, I got an A and an A- which was one of the best marks in my class, which I was hoping for but not really expecting. I am handing in my business assignment tomorrow but I have finished it. My Home Ec assignment is not due until next term now and I am making great progress!!

All I have left is 3 exams and 1 oral next week; Maths Exam, Science Exam, Multimedia Exam about flash which is so super doper hard and a business oral. I'm quite stressed about these exams as I missed a lot of work when I was away. I caught up on nearly everything but it's still very hard.

It is also 4 weeks today since I finished my medication for Blasto. I will get re-tested as soon as possible, I'm feeling alright, I have still have quite a lot of nausea and last night for no known reason my stomach was really really sore. Usually I can relate it to something, like a food I ate or something I did but last night was a mystery. I'm feeling a little better today.

I can't wait for Friday and the weekend!! I hope everyone is having a great week!!

Mish Mash

It's spring!! Winters is over, YAY!! Finally we might get some warmer weather!!

Yesterday I walked into a desk and now I have a MASSIVE bump and bruise on my leg. I hardly even touched the desk and now it's to sore to touch!!

After lunch today I had to come home because my stomach was extremely sore. I would have come home earlier but I had my English exam. My stomach is still quite painful but my heat pack seems to be working well.

I'm starting to get some summer clothes for the cruise I'm going on in December!! I'm so excited and I can't wait!! Hopefully I'l be all better by then and be able to enjoy it a lot!!

This weekend I'm have nothing planned but studying and assignment work!! How fun?? I can't wait for the holidays, don't get me wrong I like school and I'm sorta good at it but holidays are 100 times better than school!!

Next Thursday I'm getting re-tested for Blasto since it will be four weeks since I finished the tablets. I'm kinda nervous, kinda excited and I'm not really thinking about it cause I have so so so many other thinhs going on at the moment.
